You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown

Grove Players had a blast performing this musical Spring 2021. With a cast of 12 amazing students, we were finally able to perform to a limited live audience!

Twelve Angry Jurors

With restrictions finally letting up in Henry County, Grove Players were able to compete with this incredibly relevant One Act in early Spring 2021, taking home Second Place and earning two all-star cast awards!

High School Musical

We are thankful to have gotten the opportunity to squeeze in two performances of our Spring 2020 Musical, High School Musical, before Covid-19 restrictions shut us down. No matter what, we know that we're all in this together!

The Most Massive Woman Wins

This year we focused on social issues which included body image. Our Spring 2020 mini show, The Most Massive Woman Wins, focuses on four women in the waiting room of a liposuction clinic and features four incredibly strong actresses with minimal setup and costuming to keep the focus on the subject matter.

Alice in Wonderland

Our Fall 2020 production was the amazing Alice in Wonderland. With over 40 cast members, an 8 foot mushroom, and a 12 foot judge's bench, this psychedelic thriller was a great crowd favorite. Now how do we store this mushroom...

The Cagebirds

The Grove Players competed in One Act Competition once again with The Cagebirds in October 2019, written by David Campton. It featured incredible makeup and set design as well as intensive character work, earning two of our cast members a spot in the all-star cast awards.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Our Spring musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee was performed in March 2019. This was the Grove Players' first musical in quite a while and they are looking forward to many more in the future!

Almost, Maine

The Grove Players competed in One Act competition in Fall 2018 where they placed Top 3. They performed Almost, Maine at the competition where it was a crowd favorite! Jelani Willacey also won Best Supporting Actor for his two roles in the show!
